FOOD BANK

DUE TO THE COVID PANDEMIC, THE FOOD BANK IS OPEN THE 2nd AND 4th THURSDAY EACH MONTH

FROM 4-6 PM.

SPECIAL HOLIDAY HOURS FOR DECEMBER/JANUARY

1st AND 3rd THURSDAY

DECEMBER 3rd and DECEMBER 17th

JANUARY 7th and JANUARY 21st

 

The Oakland Food Pantry welcomes eligible residents of 

  Oakland and provides them with food and necessary personal items to help support them with adequate nutrition and basic hygiene in their homes.

 

Strict confidentiality will be maintained with respect to all information obtained by volunteers concerning the organization and the families we serve.

 

In every instance, clients will be addressed and served with courtesy and respect for their dignity.  The Oakland Food Pantry is open to eligible community members for shopping. 

 

 Proof of Oakland residence is required by showing one of the following:          

 A Maine Care Card

 Current CMP Bill or

 A Phone Bill

 A copy of your lease

 

Any current bill with your name and address.  If you do not have any of the above ID, you may go to the  OAKLAND TOWN OFFICE and get a note stating you are a resident of OAKLAND.  A drivers license may not be used for identification.  A client will be eligible to shop at the Pantry providing their income falls within the Federal Income Guidelines.
